DEPART FROM EVIL

Psa 37:27 "Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore."
Rom 7:21 "I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me."

God tells me to Depart from Evil and do Good, but I find that when I would do good, evil is present with me, in fact God it tells me that sin dwells in me. Furthermore, He tells me that there is none that doeth good, no, not one. So, how do I depart from evil?


Job 28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.”
Depart from evil is understanding. Therefore, departing from evil has to do with understanding the Word of God, understanding Truth, nothing to do with actions or “obedience” to the law is it?

Psa 34:14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
Depart from evil and do good. But I find that when I would do good, evil is present with me. Peace (Jesus), do I seek Him or does He seeks me? Ezek 7:25 Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and [there shall be] none. The carnal minded (Christian) man, will always seek peace but will never find it, the Peace (Jesus), finds the child of God and never leaves him nor forsakes him. The child of God does not seek Peace because Peace is in Him.
Are you seeking Peace?

Psa 37:27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
There is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Pro 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
Be ignorant, fool, unlearned, weak, in thine own eyes = Fear of the Lord = Departing from evil.

Pro 13:19 The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.
Fools do not want to depart from the Lie, carnal minded (Christians) man, do not want to depart from works.

Pro 16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
Mercy and truth = Departing from evil

Pro 16:17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.
The highway of the upright (Jesus), IS to depart from evil.  That is what departing from evil IS; Jesus, Mercy, Truth, it is not what you do or don't do.

Pro 17:13 Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.
Whoso rewarded works for Grace, evil shall not depart from his house.

Depart from evil, Mat 5:39 But I say unto you, that ye resist not evil:”
